Sharpless is a boy named Jack Greenleaf who made a eponymous album on his computer. The sound is cacophonous and melodic (i.e. Kevin Shields and Rivers Cuomo on a lunch date) but grounded in hypnotic rhythms and big, anthemic choruses.

Whenever Japan has fallen, they have built themselves back up stronger than they had ever been before. This holds true for the most recent tragedies as well. This is a song about the mental discipline of a nation that has been through far too much, and the unintentional selfishness of helpless empathy.
